Jason David Frank, Tommy Oliver of Power Rangers, Dies at 49

The Power Rangers are mourning the loss of one of their own, Jason David Frank, who played Tommy Oliver in the ’90s show and voiced him in 2017’s film reboot. Frank was found dead at his home in Greenville, SC on April 1, according to People Magazine , at the age of 49.

Announcement of death

After the passing of his older brother, Frank increased his involvement in church and underwent baptism, which is one aspect of his personality. In 1994, Frank married his first wife, with whom he had three kids. He had two separate spouses from 2001 to 2003, and he was married to two different women throughout that time. Tammie requested a divorce in 2022.
On November 19, 2022, Frank passed away in Texas at the age of 49.

Cause of death

There was no immediate word on the cause of death, but multiple reports indicated that Mr Frank committed suicide.

This family had him residing in Texas, California, with his parents, wife, and children.

Jason David is father to Jacob, Skye, Jenna, and Hunter, with Tammie Frank being the mother of those children.

Four-year-old Jason David Frank first trained at Red Dragon Karate School. He had done this shortly after beginning his studies at the nearby institution.

On the TV series Power Rangers, he played the role of the Green Ranger and then again in Super Power Beatdown, this time the White Ranger.

In 2020, the Legend of the White Dragon film was launched on Kickstarter. When originally conceived, it was either going to be a fan movie or a miniseries. This success led to the film being made into a full-length motion picture starring Frank, Jason Faunt, and Ciara Hanna, who previously starred in Power Rangers.
